Ergonomics

"The applied science of Equipment Design, as for the workplace, intended to maximise productivity by reducing operator fatigue and discomfort"

Ergonomics incorporates elements from many subjects including anatomy, physiology, psychology and design. Ergonomists apply their diverse knowledge to ensure that products and environments are comfortable, safe and efficient for people to use.

SPI® have made an extensive study of the effects of applying Ergonomic principles to the design and manufacture of school bags and have developed a product range which brings the results of ergonomic principles coupled with many years of development and customer feedback to the market place.

SPI® Ergonomic School Bags have been available in Asia for many years and have a substantial following there, with over 300 Schools prefering SPI® bags. From a Health perspective this is a proven product and we believe it is unique in that ergonomic principles have been appled from the conceptive stages right through to the development and production. Continous improvement ensures that research and development are carried out continuously and and design improvements made available quickly.
